Die lip build-up

Die lip build-up or die line can occur when the die head or molten temperature is too high. Here are common checks and solutions:

Die Head Temperature Too High?
Decrease the die head temperature to avoid overheating.

Molten Temperature Too High?
Reduce the extruder temperature to prevent excessive heat.

Die Lips Damaged or Scraped?
Replace or repair the die lip sets if they are damaged.

Misalignment of Die Lips?
Re-align the die lips to ensure they are in the correct position for smooth operation.

Too Much Anti-Block Agent?
Check the type and level of anti-block agent to ensure it is used appropriately.
