Bubble blocking
Blocking bubbles occur when the opposite faces of the film stick or adhere to each other. Here are common checks and solutions:
Insufficient Bubble Cooling?
Increase the cooling air supply to prevent film adhesion.
Nip Roller Pressure Too High?
Release the nip roller pressure to avoid excessive film compression.
Winding Tension Too High?
Lower the winding tension to reduce the risk of blocking.
Rollers Exposed to High Heat?
Ensure standby rollers are kept away from high-heat areas to prevent film adhesion during storage.
Inadequate Anti-Block Level or Improper Type?
Increase the anti-block agent level or apply a better type of agent.
Polymer Formulation Issue?
Use higher-density polymers or Metallocene PE to improve film properties and prevent blocking.
